Barbed Wire & High-Tensile Fence

Wire fences are the working standard for rural boundaries and big pastures. Traditional barbed wire is familiar and effective for cattle. High-tensile wire is stretched much tighter, needs fewer posts and can be electrified, and when it is built right it holds its tension for a long time. In either case the secret is the same: braced corners and ends that hold the load.

We install barbed wire and high-tensile fences for landowners in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. We set deep, braced corners, space line posts for the wire type, use proper tensioners and insulators and finish with gates that match the strength of the fence.

FAQ

Common questions about barbed wire & high-tensile

Is barbed wire safe?

It is effective for cattle but is not recommended around horses. We suggest alternatives where it fits.

What makes high-tensile different?

How many strands do I need?

It depends on the animals and the terrain. We recommend a number for your land.
