Split Rail Fence

Split rail fence is the classic country look. Two to four rails pass through posts or rest in them, and the result marks a property line, lines a drive or frames an entrance without blocking a view. It is quick to build and suits large lots, wooded land, entrances and trails. Add wire mesh on the inside and it can also contain small dogs and children.

We install split rail fences for homeowners and landowners in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. We choose cedar or treated rails, set posts at proper spacing, add wire when you need to keep pets in and build matching gates.

Cedar is naturally rot resistant and lasts a good while, especially if posts are set well.

Can you build it on a slope?
